Black Ops 2's reception

As many of you may have noticed.. Treyarch revealed their latest iteration of Call of Duty. The much anticipated Black Ops II. If in the case you do not know anything about it let me show you their trailer:

Now, I'm not here to talk about the reveal itself or to stir up hype about it.. I'm here to discuss the harsh reaction it was given.

Every year a new Call of Duty comes out, and every year the same complaints pour in from complete morons that think that they know a thing or two about game development. Everyone complains 'do something different' 'they always release the same crap'. Blah blah blah. Now, a lot of you that read this know me.. I'm not entirely cool with the Call of Duty series either. But I can completely understand why someone may be and I can definitely understand how much work goes into creating one of these games. Anyone who complains about always getting the same game and then at the same time complains about this newest iteration is an idiot.

"GIANT WALKING MECH TECH!? YAWN! MORE OF DA SAME!" -typical gaming genius

I'm kind of upset in the gaming community as a whole for being so ridiculously stupid about this. Treyarch finally does something different by incorporating sci-fi themes and futuristic tech only to be met with absurd criticism. It's disgusting and shows how the gaming community is made up of whiny cry-babies who feel they are entitled to everything. Here's a simple rule.. If you haven't liked any of the Call of Duty games leading up to this, THEN DON'T BUY IT. Don't. It's that easy.

It's amazing how these idiots find it so easy to pass judgement on a game they haven't played yet or seen very much of at all. I'm not saying this is going to be a genre-defining game, or anything revolutionary, but it certainly doesn't look like it's going to be a bad game, and it definitely doesn't look like every other Call of Duty title.
