And THAT Is How It's Done - DriveClub -- Canoosh Point - 3 STAR

Alright, so I made a bit more Drive Club footage for ya'll. This time during the day! A time trial in Canada! With a bit of extra footage at the end! Enjoy!

It was a damn fun race. The Hennesy Venom GT is a beast of a machine and is nearly impossible to control! But, this? THIS is how it's done! I love this game since the updates!

' The Calm Before the Storm'

Merry Christmas -- Far Cry 4 videos!

Hello all! I recorded some very holiday-relevant Far Cry 4 footage for you all! Please, enjoy!
(alright so, I saw "awkward Secret Santa" trending and I thought I'd make a funny video.. I didn't know it was an @Midnight thing...)

And for something a bit different :

Doesn't Matter, Got 'S' - Ground Zeroes Speedrun [HARD]

Speed running is not easy. I thought it'd make a nice post to do a run through of a game that I'm very familiar with and wouldn't be too long of a video. I chose Metal Gear Solid : Ground Zeroes. I've had this game since it's release back in March of this year and I've played it quite a bit. But I never really took the missions seriously until this weekend. After playing for hours upon hours this is the result of my hard work and research and ya know what? It's not that pretty, and it's not particularly good (I think that 'Reflex mode' - when the game goes into slow motion - might be making it a bit too easy).. But I'm proud of it. Hell, I still managed an S rank (on HARD mode, okay?!), and that's all that really matters right? Well, here's the footage.

Also, if you like this sort of thing, check out my buddy @perfectstealth . I learned everything from him! Thanks for reading.

LSD - Revamped

How many of you have heard of an old Playstation game called LSD Dream Emulator? It was released in 1998 in Japan? Anyone? Well, it's got somewhat of a cult following, and with good reason. It's an incredibly intriguing game with many branching levels and some incredibly interesting environments.

Well, if any of that sounds interesting to you, and you don't have a ps1 to play it on, you'll be happy to hear that a fan ( going by the name of 'Figglewatts') of the game has taken it upon himself to re-create the game using the Unity engine! Not only that, it's available to play right now! The alpha can be found here : http://lsdrevamped.net/ -- Now keep in mind that the project is still in it's alpha form, so it's probably gonna crash and be pretty buggy. He's making it available to get some data to continue this project! So do yourself and him a favor and play the game! Also, if you'd like to support him, visit his Patreon and pledge!

The Crew - Roadtrip Speedrun

The Crew is a title I'm still iffy on. I haven't played quite enough to do a review, but I have played enough to know that it's mostly boring. But sometimes that's a good thing. It can be pretty relaxing going for a long drive with no clear goal, and The Crew's map and map size are perfect for that. Today I took a cruise from Los Angeles to Las Vegas just to see how long it would take. I got there in about 12 minutes. Here's my journey... Some shenanigans occur at around 7 minutes in. Enjoy the video!

If you're looking for a wide-open racing game, and you're okay with MMO's, you just might enjoy The Crew.

Evolve - Wraith Reveal Trailer

I'm a little late on the draw, but here it is! The final Evolve monster has been revealed : The Wraith! It's like a xenomorph that can teleport and cloak itself! Perfect specimen my ass! Anyways, Evolve is set to release 2/10/2014 for PC, PS4, and Xbox1.

Evolve hasn't had my attention very much, but after this trailer, I'm definitely more excited. A mixture of Left4Dead and ... I dunno Aliens or something. It looks great.

The xenomorph sits and contemplates his existence after seeing the Wraith.

Naomi Kyle Creeps of the Day - 1

Today's creeps taken from Daily Fix 12/17/2014

Hello everyone, I'm back with yet another Naomi Kyle Creepers of the day! Decided I'm gonna be doing groups of 10 from here on out.. and wouldn't you know that it isn't difficult to find 10 of these people after all! Anyways, here we go!

"Jeez shes pretty"
Don't worry, it's gonna get creepier..

"She looks awesome"
I wonder if the people leaving comments like this realize she's reading gaming news..

"Naomi is visible at 0:04, 0:35, 0:50, 1:10, 1:40, 2:38"
Thanks to ElodinMaster, fellow basement dwellers do not have to sit and watch the video and wait for Naomi to appear.

"Omg Naomi Kyle gets prettier everyday :o"
Ya know.. This actually isn't that bad. Don't worry though, the next ones are better-- yeah, better.

"i just wanna see naomi kyle armpits.. is that too much to ask?"

"Mmm I wanna hit that from the back while pulling on that long sexy blonde hair till I rip it off her skull"
Ladies.. If you're looking for this sort of passionate love making, I'm sure that Firestylejutsu4 here is ready and waiting..

"Naomi's clothes suck, where are the fucking boobs!"
I don't really understand.. Did you come to that video expecting her to have her boobs out?

"suck my dick naomi"
There ya go. That'll do it. I'm sure she's on her way to you right now, 'thiessen yang'.

"Naomi Kyle looking sexy as ever.. imma go fap now"
Really? Are you? And thankyou necromancerisme for directing him to a collection of what is more than likely poorly photoshopped images.

Annnnd my favorite! :

"Naomi can I suck your pussy till you squirt"
Best one of the day! Not only because of the completely stupid comment from 'Poppinhajs' but because people responded with disagreement! Yes! ZOMBIExGAMING1 you're absolutely right. Pussy. For. Days.

Bonus Round :

"Your hair looks fab! Got mine done too!
-Are you a girl?
Noooo... I'm a guy! -_-of course I'm a girl....
-Do you want to have sex with me"
Ahh yes.. Here 'I Remain Anonymous' displays the typical Naomi Kyle Creeper brand of social interaction. From "Are you a girl?" straight to "Do you want to have sex with me?". Breathtaking. Please, keep using this type of speech for everyday interaction to ensure our future society that you do NOT breed.

DriveClub Weather Update - Additional Footage

Hello everyone! I went ahead and got some more footage of this beautiful DriveClub weather update for you. We've got two here : Norway in the snow and Scotland with lightning! As I've said before, this weather update brought with it many fixes and improves the game on so many levels. If you have a PS4 and like racing games, go get it!

Norway - Snow

Scotland - Night storm

Hatred re-instated! Yay?

A couple days ago, the controversial game Hatred was added to Steam Greenlight, and within hours it was taken off of Steam Greenlight. Luckily for all those anticipating the game and hoping to acquire it through Steam, it has been yet again placed onto Steam's Greenlight program! And it's all thanks to Gabe Newell (Steam Co-founder)! In an email to the developer (Creative Destruction) Gabe said :

"Hi Jaroslaw. Yesterday I heard that we were taking Hatred down from Greenlight. Since I wasn't up to speed, I asked around internally to find out why we had done that."
"It turns out that it wasn't a good decision, and we'll be putting Hatred back up. My apologies to you and your team."

Finally ending the email with, "good luck with your game.”
I don't know what your opinion on Gabe is, but he seems like a pretty cool guy if you ask me. For those of you who have yet to see the controversial trailer for this game, allow me to introduce it to you with a few of my own edits -- Those of you who have seen The Room will surely enjoy it :

Wasn't that great? Trust me, it's better than the original.

DriveClub - The Sun Through The Clouds ..

It's been a little over two months since my original DriveClub write up. I have to say.. It's improved a ton! All for the better!  The annoying penalties have been made to be much less strict, the A.I. is much more manageable and less prone to run into you, but mostly they finally stabilized the damn connectivity issues! On top of all that, they've added some truly beautiful weather effects and an awesome photo mode that I've showcased in my recent screenshots. I made a quick video to go over the new weather effects :

This game has improved tons and has really proven itself this last month. With these fixes, I'd have to say we have Playstation's first exclusive racing game that's worth the time. If you have a PS4 and are interested in racing games, definitely give DriveClub a chance! You can get it fairly cheap as well, and you'll also be receiving the first DLC pack for free!

Naomi Kyle Creepers of the Day!

(Comments today taken from Daily Fix 12/16/14 and 12/15/14)

Another blog revival.. Another batch of creepy Naomi Kyle "Fans".. Is it the anonymity of the internet that brings these people about? Or are they really like this in person. I hope to never find out either way. Well, here ya go :

"I wonder what she smells like?"
Our first comment comes from "AnimePervert", who ponders what Naomi Kyle may smell like. He lives up to his name.

"Bring back the cheap teacher/stripper outfit."
"Got here early no gif or pics yet...."

Do people really make gifs of each Daily Fix video?

"naomi sit on my face"

Get em', Heisen Burger. You sure know how to woo the women.

"lukin gud naomi gurl, but hwhere's that twerkin video tho?"
I like the way Sheh B addresses Naomi like he personally knows her.

"Can't believe she had a threesome"
Wat? Honestly, I don't know what the fuck this guy is talking about.

"Clicked for Naomi schoolgirl fantasy in thumbnail"
I'm sure that IGN will be glad to know that their clickbait thumbnails are working.

"I'm glad the daily fix is on daily to see the lovely Naomi Kyle...awesome news!"
"Naomi you are just gorgeous!"
Ya know.. I actually don't think these two are so bad. But this next one takes the cake..

"Guys could we please stop talkin about consoles and games and which 1 is better and talk how fat nyomi is getting"
This is fairly disturbing. I'm no "Social Justice Warrior", or a Naomi Kyle fan by any means.. But fat? Really? Fuck you, Houston Mitchell. You didn't even bother to get her name right. I'm sure you're a perfect example of peak physical fitness.

Love/Hate/Love - Pre-Patch DriveClub Write-up

This is a pre-patch write-up!! The game is MUCH better now. I'll be providing footage shortly

Towards the end of September I had 3 games coming to me through Pre-order : Shadows of Mordor, Alien Isolation, and DriveClub. I was pretty apprehensive about Shadows of Mordor. I hadn't seen much gameplay and the graphics were lookin' pretty damn generic in all of the trailers I had seen. However, I had the privelege to play Alien Isolation and DriveClub at Gamestop Expo towards the beginning of September. They had both impressed me a great deal! Especially DriveClub. For me, it was the highlight of the show (right next to Mortal Kombat X). From my time playing it there I figured I was in for a great game, especially since it reminded me of Need for Speed:Shift a great deal. I loved Shift. The way I saw it, I had what I thought to be a generic game coming to me in the form of Shadows of Mordor and I could use that to pass the time until the release of what I was really anticipating : DriveClub and Alien Isolation.
You see, I was and am a pretty big fan of Need for Speed Shift. I've bought it multiple times across multiple systems. I enjoyed the handling of the cars, the vehicle customization options, the immersion of the cock-pit view, and generally the all-around look and feel of the game. When I came across the Driveclub section of Gamestop Expo I was immediately reminded of NFS: Shift. The game had a great cock-pit view, gorgeous visuals, and a control style that I quickly picked up from my time spent with Shift. I spent a good hour or more at the booth trying out different cars and doing time-trials at different locations. I had a great time and was instantly sold.  I really should have tried out some other events..

The end of September came around and the release of Shadows of Mordor came with it. I purchased it after a long day expecting to not necessarily be let down by it, but not to be entirely too impressed either. Chris Carters' 6.0 review score was also weighing heavily on my thoughts. I regretted the purchase as soon as I read it. But you know what? I enjoyed it immensely. I quickly became absorbed in the world created in that game. The combat system was engaging, brutal, and made you feel like a bad ass with every kill; and the nemesis system gave every captain a unique feel. As many have stated, I grew attatched to the captains who came back from the dead time and time again. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. The game was near impossible for me to put down. I beat it in a mere two days because of that, and I plan to play it to 100% completion. It's a strong contender for my game of the year. I thought that if I was this impressed by a game I had little-to-no interest in, that I'd end up loving what the next week had to offer : DriveClub and Alien Isolation

Finally, after what felt like months it was finally October 7th. Alien Isolation and Driveclub(what I was really looking forward to) were finally going to be mine. I sped home after making my purchases, ripped open my games, took a moment to enjoy the smell of the fresh plastic,  and practically slammed Driveclub into my PS4. My first race began simply, but should have been enough to foreshadow what was in store for me. I sped my BMW through the race trying my best to avoid the other drivers and for some reason was unable to do so. You see, this is when I should have noticed the aggresive A.I.. Simply put, they don't give a shit about you. At all. They push all other cars around, rear end you when attempting to pass, and will quite often give you collision penalties and corner penalties by ramming you offroad. Yep, penalties from other drivers. Now I wouldn't be so angry if it were simply a tally system, and after so many -- you're out. But that isn't the case here. When you're issued a penalty (Collision or Corner) your car is 'throttled', meaning that it's reduced to a pretty slow speed (around 40-50 mph), giving the other racers ample time to pass you. I cannot tell you how many times I've had races completely botched because I've been rammed off the track during a crucial moment in a race by these wreckless assholes. Obviously I didn't notice this during the first race, and the graphics of this game had me stunned still. It's a gorgeous game.
Alright so after getting first place in that race I was ready to move on. I took some time to make a 'club'. After all, one thing Driveclub seems to have been trying to pitch the most was their social aspects. Racing with friends, gaining points together, etc. Here's where more problems arose. I created a club and a paintjob for my crew and submitted my work. Shortly after, I realized I wasn't all that happy with my work and went to make my adjustments. When attempting to do so I was greeted with a 'You have been disconnected from the DriveClub servers' error message. I figured I'd move on, confident that this would be adressed quickly and that this was likely due to it still being launch night. But wouldn't ya know that here we are a week later and it still hasn't been fully fixed. I am still being connected and disconnected constantly, effectively barring me from their 'innovative' social features and preventing me from unlocking any cars that would be unlocked by using said features. I'm not much of a multiplayer guy but I hate that I cannot connect to see leaderboards on track times or even change the horrible paintjob I made for my 'Club'. I tried as soon as yesterday and it just wasn't working. On top of all that, they've delayed the release of their psPlus free release. Anyone that was considering purchasing this game after trying the free version has now been further dissuaded.

Ya know, despite the online not working I wanted to enjoy DriveClub that first night. I went through the single-player races, learned about the awful AI and enjoyed myself during the time trials that were devoid of them. Then I came across the 'Drift' events. Luckily, there aren't AI opponents during these events because I'm pretty sure that the developers knew that it would be a nightmare, but it doesn't really help much. There's no tutorial in this mode, there's no changes to the way these vehicles handle, and there's no indication on what this game considers drifting and how to gain points successfully. All you get is something I can only compare to FarCry Blood Dragon's tutorial parody "To look around, look around" "Jump, if you wish to jump" "Crouch to go lower". Think I'm exaggerating? Look :
 image from - gamersyde

As far as I know, that's the only information you get in regards to scoring points in this game. I still do not understand how this game wants me to drift or why it wants to. I hate the drift events with all of my being. It's awful. I tried what I think should work : Downshift/E-brake into corners, and it just doesn't cut it. Not to mention.. In a game that has a multitude of car-specific based events why is this even a thing?! I can't tell you how stupid it feels being used to how an Audi R8 handles only to have to be forced to use something like a Marussia B2 in these events and have no idea how it handles or behaves when downshifting into corners. It's frustrating! Not to mention.. WHO THE HELL DOES DRIFT EVENTS IN A "HYPERCAR"?! Why not give these games drift specific cars? Did you not want to put slippery drift event specific controls because you were going for realism? In that case WHY NOT JUST LEAVE OUT DRIFT EVENTS!?! Especially ones that use cars like the Marussia B2! This game, you guys.. This game..

In the end, Driveclub has been a huge disappointment to me. I realize that this write-up is pretty negative.. So here's a few pluses
  • It's graphically beautiful
  • It handles exceptionally
  • The cars are all incredibly detailed
So if all of that makes a game you wanna buy, go for it! But keep these negatives in mind :
  • Bad drift events that aren't explained to the player
  • Unreliable online
  • Aggressive AI that will consistently ram you
  • Unfair penalties that throttle your car
  • Euro-centric car selection (Really.. pretty much nothing from outside of Europe)
I was really looking forward to this game, and after reading through all of the horribly negative comments on any Youtube video or IGN/Gamespot article comment section, I really wanted it to succeed. I was impressed with it during my time at Gamestop Expo, but after seeing the full product I feel kind of cheated if I'm being perfectly honest. Hopefully some patches fix these problems or at least somewhat remedies them. But I'm not expecting much. But I'll be around to get the DLC considering I made the mistake of buying the season pass prior to it's release.. So I guess I'll see.

Oh yeah and Alien Isolation kicks ass. I absolutely love it.

I'm Back!

Here I am again, everybody. Been years since I've posted, but I feel like now is the right time to be doing this again. I'm going to be giving it my all this time! Videos and everything! As you can tell, I've already re-branded. The old name was stupid. I don't really know why I went with it in the first place. Anyways.. Stay tuned please!  I'll have some content for you shortly..
